The hacksaurus is a monster who appears in the Dragon Quest series.

Characteristics

Hacksaurs are bipedal dragons with a build similar to that of a predatory dinosaur. They are green in colour with a yellow underbelly and carry large axes in their small arms.

Lizzie is a hacksaurus recruitable by the player after the events of Cloudsgate Citadel. To add her, the player must first have recruited Terry. Upon bringing him to the dungeons in Arkbolt, she will offer to go with him.

Dragon Quest VIII

Near Farebury, there is a recruitable Hacksaurus for the Monster Arena. After being defeated for the first time, it drops a Silver Medal. It is a pretty strong unit, with good stats overall, very strong early game and still usable late game. His attacks include: basic attack, Falcon Slash and a weak fire breath attack. It's one of the monsters whose stats scale with Hero's level.
