The Havens Above is a location in Dragon Quest XI.
Story[]
Rise of the Lord of Shadows[]
The party arrives in Havens above to find that it is destroyed and that the main hall and a lone survivor of the watchers exists. They find the Guiding Light and from it they learn that in order to defeat the lord of shadows they need to forge the sword of light. They decide to head to the three areas shown by the guiding light to head there.
In Search of Lost Time[]
The party arrives in Haven above in the new timeline. A watcher greets them talking about how Calasmos lived long ago and now lives again. They bring the Luminary and his party to the elder at the Place of Legends. They mention the elder's rarely awake and tell the story of how Calasmos sought Yggdrasil long ago. Erdrick was called on and rode Cetacea with his companions to fight Calasmos. They won but the watchers don't know how Calasmos is back.
The elder, Eegoltap, awakens not long after saying that the seedlings of Yggdrasil know of what happened to Erdrick and Calasmos. The watcher takes them to the Temple of Dawn where the seedlings are located. Sadly the seedlings here do not remember what happened to Erdrick and Calasmos. The group takes the guiding light and Eegoltap awakens the power of the party to aid in their mission. He also wishes for the Luminary to end the cycle before falling back asleep. The party then sets out to find the seedlings.
