Healix is a main character in Dragon Quest Heroes and the sequel Dragon Quest Heroes II.
While sharing names and overall child-like character, the two Healix are two completly separate individuals.
Appearance[]
Healix looks like a healslime. In the first heroes game, he wears a crown on it's head. In heroes II, instead of a crown, he wears a beret.
Personality[]
The Healix from Heroes grew up idolizing his deceased father, and as such truly belived his stories about the importance of the crown he left him, in truth the Circle of Light. When these stories were seemingly proven false by the inability of the circlet to show its real power, Healix fealt a shock and sadness so strong, to lead him fleeing from his friends and return to his old home to cry alone.
The Healix from Heroes II, likes to model himself as a drill seargeant, badly putting up a less childish front by sprinkling some military lingo into his vocabulary.

Abilities[]
During gameplay, both Healixes will assist the party by casting healing magic when they are low of health, upgrading from Heal, to Midheal, to Moreheal as the story progresses, and with certain accessories and weapons having the effect of increasing the rate of occurrence for this aid.
In Dragon Quest Heroes II, Healix also sometimes show up on the battlefield, distracting the enemy with a fairly weak Multitentacles, and thusly sometimes becoming a target for enemy attacks; since he has infinite health, there are no negative repercussions for such event.
Notes[]
- Apparently, Healix has some kind of connection with the slime weapons (available as DLC) in the first Dragon Quest Heroes, because whenever one of them is equipped, there is a 10% chance he will aid them in battle, healing back a bit of their health.
