Helichopter is a recurring skill in the Dragon Quest series.

Description[]

Used with greatswords, Helichopter allows the user to swing the blade in a complete circle, striking all enemies for normal damage

Appearances[]

Dragon Quest III 2D-HD[]

Only appearing in the 2D-HD Remake, it is learned by Merchants at level 24 and costs 8 MP to use.

Dragon Quest X[]

Making its debut, it is learned by investing 7 skill points into the Greatsword skill tree, as well as investing 18 skill points into a recruited Golem and a recruited Killing machine's Greatsword skill tree. It originally cost 3 MP to use, but costs 4 MP to use from patch 1.1 onwards, and is also used by Evil Alvin, Nerodus, his Shadow, Evil God Yafagil, the Divine Judges, and The Time Being in battle. In the Offline version of the game, it is learned by investing 5 skill points into the Hero's Greatsword Character Builder and already learned by Hussar when he joins the party, in addition to Rascal using the skill when in the party temporarily.

Dragon Quest XI[]

Acting the same as in X, the Luminary can learn it by using 7 skill points on his Greatsword Character Builder, with Hendrik already learning it when he joins the Luminary in Act II, as he uses it while as a guest party member. It costs 4 MP to use once again, and is also used alongside Serena's Woosh for the Chop 'n' Churn Pep Power, and Hendrik's Frost Fangs for Cold Front.

Dragon Quest of the Stars[]

Appearing as the main skill of the Warrior's sword, it acts the same as in previous appearances and can be equipped to any melee weapon. It is used by Boss trolls and Atlas in battle.

Dragon Quest Tact[]

Already learned by Green dragons, Trolls, Hoodlums, Wild beasts, Hammerhoods, Brownies, Mandrake mercenaries, and Wooper troopers when they are recruited, as well as learned by Golems when they reach level 16, it damages enemies in range and costs 7 MP to use. A scroll of this ability can be obtained by clearing Stage 2 of Troll, Thunderbird, King Mont, and Sweet Troll's Battle Roads and Stage 4 of Maam's Battle Road, while elemental versions of this skill make their debut.

Dragon Quest Champions[]

Acting the same as in X and XI, it is learned at level 20 when wielding the Dragonsbane, Silver rapier, Iron lance, and Cat's claw, as well as level 10 when wielding the Bandit axe, costing 16 MP to use.
