The hero spear has an attack bonus of +72, a style bonus of +17, and increases the wielder's weight by 43. It restores 6% of the damage inflicted as HP. The spear can be equipped by Warriors, Priests, Paladins, and Item Masters.

Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker[]

The hero spear is received as a reward for Advanced Proficiency Test: Question 7, and increases attack by +82. Its description states that it is "Wielded by a heroic knight in days of yore."

Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2[]

The hero spear gives +82 attack and can be bought for 16,492G.

Dragon Quest Heroes[]

The spear increases Kiryl's attack by +104, his defence by +25, and recovers 3HP per strike.

Dragon Quest Heroes II[]

The Hero spear grants +124 attack and recovers 2% of attack on every attack. It can be equipped by Lazarel, Teresa and Kiryl. It can be bought for 55,700G after the twin kings are defeated.
