A hocus chimaera is a monster who appears in the Dragon Quest series.
Characteristics[]
A staple creature since the original Dragon Quest, these brownish bird/dragon hybrids are more adept at slinging spells than the average chimaera. As such, they can burn an underprepared adventurer to cinders with a flutter of their wings or a blast of scorching hot breath. Worse yet, several species have mastered the art of healing themselves or their allies. For these reasons, the hocus chimaera should be a top priority to defeat.
