Hood is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series.
Characteristics[]
A burly humanoid bandit sporting a hooded cape with cutouts for its eyes, complemented with matching shorts as well as boots and gloves. It carries an axe. Usually appearing by mid-game, a Hood can be particularly nasty on offense, but relatively weak on defence. When defeated, it comically impales itself with its own axe by throwing it overhead as it falls.
