Horse manure (or Dung) is an item in the Dragon Quest series.

Dragon Quest IV[]

In the NES Verison it is known as the Gum Pod, and Nintendo DS is known as Horse manure. It is has no known use, other than to be sold for 1 gold coin. Torneko will be disgusted if he appraises it.

It can be found in:

  • Chapter 2 in a jar at the Desert Bazaar.
  • In Chapter 3, a shop in Shinnock will appear to be selling medicinal herbs for 8 gold coins, but it's really dung. If distributed in Torneko's shop, it will be sold for 3 gold coins.
  • Ballymoral
  • Fungeon
  • Immigrant Town (4th Stage)
