Ice Age (Freeze Out in Final Fantasy Brave Exvius) is a recurring skill in the Dragon Quest series.

Dragon Quest X[]
Making its main series debut, it is used by Jadoais, Bambaja the Flash Beast, Tarot Genie, Legirrazzo, Grudge djinn, Principal Nadia's Dragon Forme, Balzack Zombie, Pazuzu's Origin form, Delmeze, Gracos, Povadius, Training Dragon Azzurro, Desperate Owlur, Great Master, Chaos Dragrumble, and Steel Training Shell to damage enemies, as well as potentially freezing them. From the latter half of 6.5 onwards, it can be learned by recruited Imps by investing 60 skill points into their Knowledge of Blizzard Breath skill tree and deals ATK and Magical Might dependent damage to all enemies in range, costing 19 MP to use.
Dragon Quest XI Definitive Edition[]
Only appearing in the Definitive Edition of the game, it is used by the Timewyrm to damage the Luminary and his allies, as well as freezing them.
Dragon Quest Swords[]
Ice Age is a Master Stroke technique that is learned through the Wrath of Boreas sword.
Dragon Quest: Monster Battle Road Series[]
Reappearing from Battle Road II Legend onwards, it is used by True Corvus to damage all enemies while potentially stunning them.
Dragon Quest Monsters 2: Iru and Luca's Marvelous Mysterious Key/SP[]
Making its Monsters series debut, it is learned by investing 40 skill points into the Kanayama's Blessing skillset, 160 skill points into the Strong Winds skillset, 200 skill points into the Asura Zoma, Psychic Psaro, and Strong Ice skillsets, and 250 skill points into the Uber Breath skillset, costing 64 MP to use. In the SP version of the game, it is learned by investing 160 skill points into the Alizarin skillset and 250 skill points into the Nadraga skillset.

Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 3/Joker 3 Professional[]
Acting the same as in Iru and Luca's Marvelous Mysterious Key, it is learned by investing , costing 64 MP to use once again. In the Professional version of the game, it is learned by investing 250 skill points into the Barbarus skillset.
Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince[]
Acting the same as in previous Monsters series games, it is learned by investing 100 skill points into the Zoma skillset, 120 skill points into the Nokturnus skillset, 150 skill points into the Barbarus, Breath Worker, Freeze, Mordegon, Lord of Shadows, Psaro the Manslayer, Respirator, and Xenlon skillsets, and 200 skill points into the Blowhard, Fallen Angel Corvus, Frosty Receptionist, Ladja, and Murdaw skillsets, costing 64 MP to use once again.
