Making its debut, it is the trait for Shell slimes, Restless armours, Mandrake marshals, Harmours, Armoured wartoises, Quayhorses, Escudogres, Terracotta warriors, Night knights, Wooper troopers, Slon the Rook, and Xiphos the Deathbringer that negates damage from critical hits and spells gone haywire.

Dragon Quest Monsters: Terry's Wonderland 3D/SP[]

Acting the same as in Joker 2 Professional, it is learned by Thwarthogs and Pumpkin knights, as well as Restless Armours, Mandrake Marshals, Armoured Wartoises, Harmours, Quayhorses, Escudogres, Terracotta Warriors, Night Knights, Wooper Troopers, and Sion the Rook once again.

Dragon Quest Monsters 2: Iru and Luca's Marvelous Mysterious Key/SP[]

Acting the same as in its last 2 appearances, it is learned by Crabids, Bagworms, Pocus poppets, Mandrake majors, Eyevory tusk-tusks, Trap box, and Bags o' tricks, as well as Restless Armours, Thwarthogs, Mandrake Marshals, Armoured Wartoises, Harmours, Quayhorses, Escudogres, Terracotta Warriors, Night Knights, Wooper Troopers, Pumpkin Knights, and Sion the Rook once again. In the SP version, it is learned by Smogs and Gyldygga, as well as Garumazard once again.

Dragon Quest Heroes II[]

Appearing as a Party Power in this game, it is learned by reaching level 15 of the Sword Proficiency and acts the same as in previous appearances.

Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 3/Joker 3 Professional[]

Learned by investing 8 skill points into Canniboxes, Mimics, Crabber dabber doos, Handsome crabs, Elysium birds, King crabs, Plated goretoises, Ironclad wartoises, Pandora's boxes, Drakulords, Wonder wyrtles, Fluffy furs, Mosquito gnats, Armoured ants, Ice bombers, Trikaceratopses, Deep Sea Guardian, Juggerwroth, Anlucia the Maluminary, Scallop slimes, Evil crabber dabber doos, Evil king crabs, Garumazard, Sancho, as well as Crabids, Mandrake Majors, Mandrake Marshals, Armoured Wartoises, and Quayhorses once again, it acts mostly the same as in previous appearances, but the damage received from normal attacks and spells are increased in return. In the Professional version of the game, it is learned by Axolhotls, Badjas, Bling badgers, and Mars faces, as well as Pocus Poppets and Slon the Rook once again.

Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince[]

Acting the same as in previous appearances once again, it is learned by large Knight errants, Killerpillars, Rockbombs, Swingres, Cross eyes, Tortoceratopses, Leery louts, Überkilling machines, Emperor slimes, Octopots, Sir Leopold, Barbarus, and Clobsters at level 60, and by large Rhinoceraxes, Clockwork cuckoos, and Mimics with cheese at level 20, as well as Crabids, Crabber Dabber Doos, Mimics, Pocus Poppets, Mandrake Majors, Mandrake Marshals, Armoured Wartoises, Harmours, Escudorges, Pandora's Boxes, Night Knights, and Bags o' Tricks once again.
