The iron claws (Iron Claw in DQTR) are recurring weapons in the Dragon Quest series. It is a mid-level weapon and is often one of the first weapons that martial artists and bare-handed fighters can use.

Dragon Quest III[]
The iron claw has an attack bonus of +25. It can only be equipped by Martial Artists and can be purchased at Khoryv for 870 gold.
Dragon Quest IV[]
The iron claws have an attack bonus of +38. They can only be wielded by Alena and Psaro. They can only be bought for 1,500 gold during chapter 2 in Endor's arena, but they can also be rarely dropped by Skeleton swordsmen. They sell for 1,125 gold.
Dragon Quest V[]
The iron claw has an attack bonus of +30. It can only be wielded by Debora, Saber, and Jailcat. It can be bought for 550 gold.
Dragon Quest VI[]
The iron claw can be bought for 700 gold in Amor, Port Haven, Wellshire, Somnia, and Scrimsley and sold for 525 gold. it has an attack bonus of +21 and a style bonus of +15. Carver, Amos, and Goowain can equip it. Silencing rams, Lesser demons, Jumping jackals and Grrrgoyles can drop them.
Dragon Quest VII[]
The iron claw has an attack bonus of +21 and a style bonus of +15. It can only be equipped by Ruff. It can be bought for 920 gold at Pilgrim's Perdition and sold for 460 gold. Iron claws can also be won as prizes from the Lucky Panel at the Casino.
Dragon Quest VIII 3DS[]
The iron claw has an attack bonus of +55. It can only be equipped by Morrie and he joins the party with theu already in his inventory. It only appears in the 3DS version of the game. The iron claw can be upgraded into the fire claw in the Alchemy Pot by combining it with a flametang boomerang.
Dragon Quest IX[]
The iron claw can be bought for 620 gold in Coffinwell and Stornway and sold for 310 gold. It has an attack bonus of +17 and a one star rarity. Bewarewolves will drop them on rare occassions.
Dragon Quest X[]
The Iron claws have an Attack bonus of 8, a Style bonus of +3, increases the wielder's Weight by 2, and has an equipment level of 14. It can be equipped by Martial Artists, Thieves, and Monster Masters. In this game, the wielder is able to attack twice in a row with the claws.
- In the Offline version of the game, they can be equipped by Mjoll.

Iron claws can be bought for 1,150 gold on Domus Isle and Celeste Isle and can be sold for 575 gold. They have an attack bonus of +19. Its in game description is "Tough Iron claws."

The Iron claw is a C-rank claw that can be acquired as a reward for completing the Claws: Advanced level. It has an ATK bonus of +4, an AGL bonus of +6, and has two slots for Alchemy Effects. Debora can be seen wielding iron claws on both hands in her model.
Dragon Quest Treasures[]
The Iron claws are Treasure No. 170 in the Weapons category and can be found on the Wingswept Moors. Their base value is 110,000 gold coins.
