Dragon Quest IX[]
Making its debut, it is the Coup de Grâce of the Thief vocation that guarantees an enemy will drop loot after the battle.
Dragon Quest X[]
Once again the Thief vocation's Coup de Grace, it now deals damage and can stun enemies for 15 seconds, in addition to increasing rare item drops. It will not work on metal slime monsters, however.
Dragon Quest XI[]
Now appearing as a Pep Power, it is used by the Luminary and Erik when both are Pepped Up and have the Flame Slash and Half-Inch abilities.
