Trivia[]

  • In IX, Kafrizzle (メラガイアー Meragaiā) is a new spell; however, despite the fact that Merazoma had been localised as Kafrizzle in Dragon Quest VIII and the DS remakes, to keep with the new spell naming structure Merazoma became Kafrizz. Kafrizzle therefore remains the most powerful of the Frizz family of spells.
