Biography[]

Once Alvin's most trusted ally, and arranged to marry the foreign prince Yaslam, she was branded a traitor by the kingdom of Grand Zetannia just before they could face Nerodus, due to her apparently murdering Yaslam.

In truth, Yaslam had already been slain and substituted by General Jamirus; Kamil saved Princess Vistalia from his attack, but ran away in order to quickly search for a spell that could counteract Nerodus's power; what she had not told Alvin however, was that she secretly loved Alvin and was planning to sacrifice herself using that spell. Discovering the truth, Alvin refused to let her sacrifice herself, and after knocking her out, affronted Nerodus alone and performed the ritual himself, but due of being affected by the curse, he sealed himself away in the Royal Labyrinth. Misunderstanding the whole situation, Grand Zetannia branded Kamil a traitor, a misunderstanding that would not be cleared for a thousand years, if not for the time manipulations of the Hero.

After Alvin was sealed, Kamil would shortly after go inside the labyrinth herself after him to try reasoning with him, but she failed, passing away and becoming a ghost in the process.

When the Hero and Anlucia go into the labyrinth, she appears as an amnesiac ghost, but regains her memories when they go deeper. When Alvin is defeated, they reconcile and rejoin each other in heaven.

Her characterization is similar to Serena from Dragon Quest IX. Both are hooded ghosts that search for someone they love (Alvin and Corvus), reason with them after they are defeated, and join them in the afterlife.
