Appearing only in the remakes, it is used by Chow Mein during his and Foo Yung's boss fight.
Dragon Quest VI[]
Making its debut, Knuckle Sandwich inflicts 150% damage, but has a chance to miss the target if it has any resistance to the strike/rock attribute. Carver obtains this ability during a story event in Murdaw's Keep, while other characters can learn this ability by advancing to rank 5 of the Martial Artist vocation. It costs 0 MP to use and is also used by Mortamor's right hand during the final battle.
Dragon Quest VII[]
Knuckle Sandwich is learned by advancing to Rank 7 of the Warrior vocation, and is a carbon copy of VI's in the PSX version costing 0 MP once again, while dealing 200% damage for 2 MP in the 3DS remake. It is also used by Wyatt, Orgodemir during the second phase of the true final battle, as well as Machismogres in the 3DS remake.
Dragon Quest VIII[]
Knuckle Sandwich is learned by investing 12 skill points, 24 skill points, and 35 skill points into Hero, Yangus, and Angelo's Fisticuffs skill trees. All three need 2 MP to perform the technique, and can also be learned by Morrie in the 3DS remake when he invests 28 skill points into his Fisticuffs skill tree.
Dragon Quest IX[]
Learned with 25 skill points invested into the Fisticuffs skill tree, it deals 50% base damage, with no additional chance to miss. It costs 2 MP to use once again, making it easy to exploit.
Dragon Quest X[]
Acting the same as in VIII and IX, it is learned when 30 skill points are invested into the Fisticuffs skill tree and can be upgraded with the Guru's Orb from Version 3 onwards, increasing damage by 5% and Critical Rate by 1% (Max Damage: 25% Critical Rate: 5%). In addition, a stronger version called Glove Bomb makes its debut in this game.
Dragon Quest XI 3DS and Definitive Edition[]
Only used by the Dud dude during his boss fight, it acts the same, though its damage ratio is weakened compared to previous appearances. However, it is mentioned that Jade defeated a Great sabrecat with this skill during Party Chat at Chateau Felix.

Appearing as one of Alena's skills, it is activated by pressing and holding the △ button (X button in the Nintendo Switch port), causing her to damage enemies in her way while moving a great distance.
Dragon Quest Heroes II[]
Now a fully usable skill by Carver when he is recruited, as well as an action for Lazarel and Teresa when they are wielding claws in the Martial Artist vocation and Alena once again, it acts the same as in Heroes, though it can be upgraded into Super Knuckle Sandwich and Über Knuckle Sandwich for Carver by advancing to levels 5 and 14 for his Gauntlets Proficiency, while Knuckle Sandwich Filler and Spreader can be learned by advancing to levels 2 and 11 for the Twins of Unos's Claws Proficiency, respectively. It costs 10 MP to use.

Acting the same as in previous appearances once again, it is learned via the Panther claws and Silver claws at level 8, Crystal claws and Strong fist of the god of war at level 10, Yellow dragon claws at level 15, and already learned when equipping the Raging flame flash claws, costing 7 MP to use. In addition, it can be learned by recruited Iron scorpions, Weartigers, and Jargons at level 30, Knight errants at level 10, and recruited Mummy boys at level 50, costing 20 MP to use like in the Monsters series.
