Etymology[]
Being a cyclops that often wastes its own turns, this monster's name is a pun on lazy eye (amblyopia), an eye condition usually found in children in which one of the eyes appears not to participate in the processing of visual stimuli, forcing the other eye to overcompensate for missing information. If detected early, lazy eye can be corrected.
