Making its main series debut, it is used by Mandrake mercenaries, Mandrake militants, Wooper troopers, Mandrake manglers, Mandrake Major Ancestors, Mandrake murderers, Ashe, and Terudmir to damage one enemy 1.5 times the damage of a normal attack.
Dragon Quest: Monster Battle Road Series[]
Making its debut in Battle Road, it is the Slime knight's red button skill that damages one enemy while potentially paralyzing it.
Dragon Quest Heroes and Dragon Quest Heroes II[]
Appearing as a combo, it is used by Yangus, activated by pressing △ (X in the Nintendo Switch port), going into a swift somersault leading into an overhead axe attack that damages enemies unfortunate to be in its path. In the sequel, it is a sword and twin sword combo used by Lazarel and Teresa when they are in the Warrior and Gladiator vocations. It is also used by Gigantes and the Darkling during their boss fights in the first game and Knight errants, as well as Gigantes once again in the sequel.
