Lightning Conductor (Thunder Strike in DQotS and Tact) is a recurring skill in the Dragon Quest series.

Appearances[]

Dragon Quest X[]

Making its debut, it is learned when one invests 35 skill points into the Spear skill tree. It costs 2 MP to use, and deals 1.2x the lightning attribute damage of a normal attack.

Dragon Quest Heroes and Dragon Quest Heroes II[]

Learned by Kiryl when one invests 6 skill points into his skill tree, it sends a electric shockwave thrust down on the ground that damages surrounding enemies and is useful against Machine monsters, though it is slow in attack speed. In the sequel, it is learned by advancing to Rank 3 of Lazarel and Teresa's Spear Proficiency when they are in the Priest and Gladiator vocations and learned by Kiryl when he reaches Rank 4 of his Spear Proficiency. It costs 8 MP to use in both games.

A scroll of this ability can be obtained by clearing Stage 4 of Trap Box and Purrcival's Battle Roads, and Stage 2 of Gold Lion, Dora-in-Grey, and Baran's Battle Roads.
