Dragon Quest IV[]
In the NES version it's called Metal Babble Helm which can be gotten by trading in 20 mini medals to the Medal King for one Metal Babble Helm. It can be worn by Male Hero, Female Hero, Cristo, Taloon, Ragnar.
In the Nintendo DS, Android, iOS version. The liquid metal helmet has a defense bonus of +50, and protects against confusion, paralysis, and sleep.
It can be worn by Male Hero, Female Hero, Torneko, Ragnar, Kiryl, Meena.
The Liquid metal helm can be gotten in 2 ways, one way is buy it for 100,000 coins at the upgraded immigrant town. An easier alternative have Torneko randomly steal a Liquid metal helm from Metal King Slime but the chances of stealing one are low as the Metal King Slime runs away. To prevent this use the player must have the Sands of Time item in their possession and use it in order to bring back Metal King Slime, use it until Torneko steals one and will keep it regardless of whether or not the Metal King Slime runs away or not and it's much quicker than buying it at the casino.
