The Little Shrine is an optional location in Dragon Quest III, located on the eastern plains of Aliahan.

The Little shrine is situated conspicuously in the rough terrain of the island, grabbing the attention of new players. The hermit who lives within the shrine explains to the Hero that they will need the powerful Wrecking ball to open the sealed passage in the Path of Promise and continue their journey. Additionally, in the remake, the old man's bookshelves contain instruction manuals on whips and boomerangs that explain their utility.
