The Magic Sword is an ability in Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai. It is a unique ability to Dragon knights by combining sword techniques and magic spells together. It predates armamentalist abilities to do the same.
It creates an attack that is both physical and magical in nature to greatly reinforce its overall destructive power and bypass spell resistant protection, like the Dark Armor Blade.

- Fire Earth Slash: a combine technique with Earth Slash and a frizz spell, original created by Dai the Hero.
- Ice Earth Slash: mentioned by Popp in the 2020 anime but never used, combining a crack spell with Earth Slash
- Zap Strash: a combine technique with Avan Strash and a Zapple spell, original created by Dai the Hero.
- Gigabreak: combining a sword move with Kazap spell, original created by Baran the Dragon Master General
- Giga Strash: combining Gigabreak with Avan Strash, original created by Dai the Hero.
