Malwrath is the true final boss of Dragon Quest II HD-2D Remake. A fusion of an evil god and the Master of Destruction, he serves as the final challenge for the Scions of Erdrick.

Biography

Malwrath is the fusion of Malroth and an evil that was once dispelled by the Luminary dispelled long, long ago, who brings the Scions of Erdrick into a dark void at the Hall of Hargon right after the Master of Destruction's defeat and nearly has them on the ropes, though they are saved by Rubiss and Ramia, the former of whom shields them, and who had prayed to summon the Everbird, who heals them and takes them to fight this evil villain on her back, eventually using Erdrick's supreme sword to dispel Malwrath's Shroud of Shadows and then defeat the monster which possessed Hargon.
