Appearance[]
She has blue hair and black eyes. She uses her hair in a ponytail style. On her head she uses a gold circlet (Crown of clarity), and for her clothing a white vest and a blue cape (Divine dress) with yellow gloves (Guru's gloves) and boots. In the 1991 version her hair is blue, while in the 2020 it is black.
Biography[]
Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai[]
Marin is the older sister of Aimi. One of the three wise men of Papnica. Her spells are good at ice spells and recovery spells, and are given the symbol of "sea".
Clash Arc[]
Marin and Apollo were guarding Leona at the Velge Island Tower when Flazzard attacked the tower. Marin and Apollo tried to attack the monster's half parts with their respective weakness, but Flazzard protected himself with the half that was strong against. Flazzard used his Five Finger Flares to defeat Apollo and then burned Marin's face leaving her barely alive. When the party escapes she is took under Aimi care for healing together with the other injured guards.
Destiny Arc[]
Marin, Apollo and Aimi offer themselves to go with Dai, but Leona refuse and go in their place without they knowing.
Holy Sword Arc[]
The Troika appears accompanying Leona during the reunion of the world remaining governors. While the Sovereign Rock Castle attacks Papnica
Epic Challenge Arc[]
When Mystvearn retreats, Popp follows behind in a surge of anger after Papnica was destroyed by the Dark army assault. Dai follows him until the Field of Death. Popp is caught in Killvearn trap and is almost killed when Dai, who was already tired from the battle at Papnica, rescues him. Hadlar appears at the battle showing his new Hyper Demon form.
Hadlar defends the Avan Strash with the Sword of Champions Popp escapes while carrying Dai but Hadlar catches them. Dai uses Gigabreak against the Hyper Demon and the battle ends in a draw. Popp escapes leaving Dai behind while being chased by Killvearn. Crocodine appears and create a distraction to let then both escape.
When Popp arrives, everyone were disapointed for him leaving his friend behind, regretting his decision but it could not be helped as he was no match for Killvearn. Crocodine and Chiu go search for Dai leaving Popp behind. Popp then asks if anyone has a Magic water, with Aimi saying that Marin has it. Popp goes to her and insist for her to give him, pulling her skirt and exposing her underwear (making Popp being slapped in the process).
