Mawkeepers are a special type of monsters in the Dragon Quest series that first appeared in Dragon Quest Heroes.
Characteristics[]
Mawkeepers have a dark aura around them and they are dark colored. Mawkeepers guard Nightmaws, portals from which more monster spawn. The mawkeepers come in different types of monsters.
Dragon Quest Heroes II introduced a new set of Mawkeepers, based on different monsters, these being the Float-o-copier, the Cumaulus, the Mandrake major, the Tortured soul and the Knight aberrant.
