It heals the user for around 80 health and can be used inside a battle as well as outside a battle and it costs 3 MP to use. Though it can only heal the user, it is still very useful as it is one of the few healing techniques that can be used in different vocations (once it is acquired) and can serve as an auxiliary healing technique.

Dragon Quest X[]

Meditation is learned by investing 90 skill points into the Martial Artist's Focus skill tree, and by investing 12 skill points into a recruited Golem's Protection Power skill tree and costs 5 MP to use. The healing is also affected by Tension, making it far more useful than in previous games. It is also used by the Ark Chimera, Naumannborgs, Evil ganeshas, and Yarn, in addition to Vermil lions and Corvus once again.

Dragon Quest XI[]

Once again an enemy only skill, it is used by Calasmos, Mortamammoth, Orgodelotl, Nelgelas, and the End of Time in battle, in addition to Naumannborgs and Evil Ganeshas once again.
