Mereade is a character in Dragon Quest X. First-born daughter of King Dominus of the ancient Etene Kingdom, Mereade was a kind soul, who couldn't hurt a fly, unlike her father or younger brother Quad; after the death of the latter two, Mereade was effectively left as the sole reigning member of the royal family, and was forced to transport her kingdom five-thousand years into the future, to avoid a great cataclysm.
