The mighty armlet is a recurring accessory in the Dragon Quest series. Introduced in Dragon Quest IV, can be seen again in Dragon Quest VIII and Dragon Quest IX. It raises strength of a single character.

Dragon Quest III[]
The Might Armlet is available in the remakes of III, and increases attack by 15. Wearing it changes a character's Personality to Paragon. The armlet is found in Aliahan castle behind a Magic key door and can be sold for 3,375 gold.
Dragon Quest IV[]
The mighty armlet is an accessory that increases strength by 25. It can be bought in Item Shop for 37 000G, taken from a treasure chest in Zenithia Castle and received as a reward for collecting 47 Mini Medals. It can be worn by all characters and is the best of attack rising accessories.

Dragon Quest VIII[]
This accessory raises strength of character by 15. It's also used as an alchemy ingredient. Three alchemy recipes require mighty armlet. It can be got from Treasure chest on Isolated Plateau and made with alchemy combining Strength ring and Titan Belt. Every character can wear the mighty armlet.
Dragon Quest IX[]
The Mighty armlet is an accessory and is commonly used in alchemy as ingredient for many recipes. It increases a character's strength by 12. It can be found in a treasure chest in Realm of the Almighty, received as a reward for quest 128 (P-P-Pick me up a pickaxe) and synthesized in alchemy using a Gold bracer, Strength ring and Tough guy tattoo.

Lke the vast majority of the available accessories, Mighty armlets can be created through Alchemy; through a lucky Sweet Success creation, it can be made from the start already at a rank of +1, then with successive melding with other copies of itself, an individual Mighty armlet can be ugraded to up to a +3 rank, adding a total of 3 other additional effects to their base one; these effects are chosen at random from a pool of possible bonuses available for this particular accessory.
In order to create one, at least one of its recipe variants is necessary to having been found.
The Quick recipe, like all Quick recipes except for the Gold ring, can be bought by exchanging Mini medals, 7 in this case; alternatively, like its counterparts, the Classic recipe and the even better Luxury recipe, it can be found very rarely as a secret drop from Zombie gladiators, Demon-at-arms and Stone guardians (however, for these last two to drop recipes, they must not be met as boss encounters). Alternatively, all of these recipe variants could potentially be found inside a treasure chest, but even more rarely than from the enemy drops.
As such, since it is not ideal to find as a drop a Quick recipe that could had been purchased instead, it is preferable to spend some Mini medals and learn the Quick recipe as soon as possible, thusly increasing the chances for the monsters to drop the better, rarer quality recipes rather then the ones that are already more easily accessible.
