Mimic (Vocation)

The Mimic is an available vocation in the game Dragon Quest VII.

Description

The Mimic is a monster that resembles a treasure chest, and is indistinguishable from a real treasure chest until it reveals itself and attacks the victims. The mimic offers moderate increases in strength and defence, while also giving sharp drops in all categories.

Monster Heart

The mimic heart can be found in the Likeness of the Great Spirit's basement. It can be won in the Lucky Panel game in the Casino. Finally, it can also be obtained by defeating mimics in the Palace of the Demon King in the past.

Trivia

• Pandora, in Greek mythology, is the first woman. She was given a gift from the gods and told not to open it. Her curiosity got the better of her and she opened the gift and from it, all of the evils that afflict mankind were released. In her haste to stop it, she closed the box but it was too late. She opened the gift one more time to see if there was nothing left. Inside the gift was Hope which was then released into the world to give men comfort against the world's afflictions.
