A mini medal is one of the most recurring items, being hidden throughout the Dragon Quest series.
They are often found in Treasure chest, chests of drawers, pots, barrels, and other searchable locations, with many mini medals, depending on the game, being permanently missable if not collected before its too late. Collected mini medals can be exchanged for various prizes in the game in which they are found.
