Miracle Moon is a recurring skill in the Dragon Quest series.

Appearances[]

Dragon Quest VIII[]

Making its debut, it is learned by investing 100 skill points into Angelo's Fisticuffs skill tree. It damages one group of enemies and recovers 25% HP of damage dealt to the first foe. It costs 6 MP to use.

Dragon Quest IX[]

Miracle Moon is learned by holding the 'Fearsome Fisticuffing' after completing the One Latht Tetht sidequest. It mostly acts the same as in VIII, though if used against one enemy, damage will be double; two enemies, 130% damage; 3 enemies, normal damage; 4 enemies, 80% damage; 5 and higher, 67% damage. It costs 16 MP to use.

Dragon Quest XI[]

Jade learns Miracle Moon for 18 skill points in her Fisticuffs Character Builder after she is freed from Booga's control. It attacks all enemies with five random strikes of 50% damage, 250% total, with her HP restored is equal to the first hit. It once again costs 16 MP to use.

Dragon Quest Heroes and Dragon Quest Heroes II[]

Already learned by Nera when she joins the party, the skill itself is different from VIII and IX, namely creating moon blades that draw enemies in and damage them. It can also be used alongside Maelstrom to further damage enemies, while it can also be enhanced with the Endless Miracle Moon skill trait. It costs 2 MP, though it actually costs 8 MP during prolonged use. In the sequel, it can be learned by Lazarel and Theresa wielding wands in the Priest, Mage, and Sage vocations, while also being used by Nera once again.
