Miracle Slash is a recurring ability in the Dragon Quest series.

Description[]

Restores the user's health based on a portion of the damage inflicted and deals 25% extra damage.

Appearances[]

Dragon Quest VII 3DS[]

Only appearing in the 3DS remake, it is learned by mastering the Armamentalist vocation and advancing to Rank 2 of the Hero vocation. It costs 3 MP to use, and damages the enemy, while recovering 20% of the user's health.

Dragon Quest VIII[]

Making its debut, Miracle Slash can be learned by investing 82 skill points into the Sword skill tree for the Hero, and 66 skill points for Angelo. It costs 4 MP to use, and will recover half of their health.

Dragon Quest IX[]

Learned by investing 35 skill points into the Sword skill tree, it acts the same as in VIII, costing 4 MP to use once again.

Dragon Quest X[]

Learned by investing 35 skill points into the Sword skill tree once again, it can heal 25% of the user's health, totaling to 450 damage recovery. It costs 3 MP to use, and can be enhanced further with the Master Orb system from the latter half of Version 3 onwards. It is also used by Berserker Ogre in battle and can also be learned by investing 18 skill points into a recruited Slime knight, Mandrake major, Harmour, and Restless armour's Sword skill tree, as well as a 25% power boost after investing 48 skill points from their 11th reincarnation onwards. In the Offline version of the game, it is learned by investing 5 skill points into the Hero and Hussar's Sword skill tree and already learned by Anlucia via her Justice skill tree when she is recruited. It is also used by Prince Odisu during the Verinard storyline.

Dragon Quest XI[]

Acting the same as in previous appearances once again, it is learned by investing 16 skill points into the Swords Character Builder for the Luminary, Erik, Sylvando, and Hendrik. It costs 4 MP for the first time since IX, and can recover 30% of their health. It is also used by Sylvando's alter ego, Sterling Sylva, during the Octagonia MMA tournament and is also used alongside Veronica's Drain Magic for the Sword of Succor Pep Power.

Dragon Quest Tact[]

Learned by Roseguardin at level 22 and Percival at level 20, it acts the same as in previous appearances once again and costs 24 MP to use.

Dragon Quest Treasures[]

Acting the same as in previous appearances once again, it is learned by Lethal armours and Tanzaknights, costing 8 MP to use.

Dragon Quest Champions[]

Acting the same as in previous appearances once again, it is learned at level 20 when wielding the Metal slime sword and already learned when wielding the Sword of Light, costing 12 MP to use.
