The Miracle sword (Originally Sword of miracles) is a recurring item in the Dragon Quest series. Whenever it successfully lands a hit on an enemy, it restores the user's HP by one quarter of the damage dealt.
Appearances
Dragon Quest IV
The miracle sword has an attack bonus of +100. Can obtain them from the Medal King. In the remake of the game, they can also be purchased in the final stage of Immigrant Town.
Dragon Quest V
The miracle sword has an attack bonus of +100. Can be obtained from the Medal King. Another one can be found in the Faerie Lea Treasures n' Trapdoors.
Dragon Quest VI
The miracle sword has an attack bonus of +100 and style bonus of +38. The sword can be obtained from King Medford after collecting 40 mini medals.
Dragon Quest VII
The miracle sword has an attack bonus of +100 and an appearance bonus of +38. It can be equipped by the Hero, Kiefer, Sir Mervyn, and Aishe.
Dragon Quest VIII The miracle sword has an attack bonus of +80. It can be upgraded into an Über miracle sword or sold for 1,000 Gold Coins.
Dragon Quest IX
The Miracle Sword may be alchemized into an Über Miracle Sword by combining it with 2 Life Bracers. It can be aquired by giving 32 Mini Medals to Cap'n Max Meddlin. Also some monsters drop it.
