A mitre (Priest's Hat in DQotS) is a piece of headwear available in the Dragon Quest series. It is the hat that the Dragon Quest III Priest class uses.

It is the hat that the male and female priest that join the party use by default. It cannot be equipped, it serves only for the look of the party member. In it's original desing it has a christian cross on it's center.
Dragon Quest IX[]
It can be equipped to a character of the priest class so it can look like the priest from III. It now has a trident like cross on it's center.

Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai[]
It is part of the fake priest Zulpon outfit. In both the manga and 1991 anime version it follows the III design, but in the 2020 version the it is the X version.
