Monster Master is a vocation in the Dragon Quest game series.
Though one of the weaker vocations statistically, the Monster Master makes up for its poorer physical and magical attributes by learning group-hit attacks such as breath skills. Much like a Dancer's repertoire, the Monster Master's skills eventually meet heavy resistance as the player progresses through the main game.

Dragon Quest VII
Known as Monster Masher (formerly Tamer), it's an intermediate vocational class in Dragon Quest VII.
In this game, the Monster Masher is an intermediate vocational class. It uses the attacks of monsters to conquer enemies. This class can recruit monsters for the Monster Park. To become a Monster Masher, a party member must first master the Shepherd and Thief classes.
