Mount Batten is where the village of Battenburg is based. It is a very hard mountain to climb.
Most of the kingdoms and other large cities in Dragon Quest V are named for royal houses of Europe. This being the case, the House of Mountbatten includes Queen Elizabeth II's consort, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. Per English custom, members of the royal family do not take surnames; but if one is needed, it is Mountbatten-Windsor for any of his issue.
