The mythril helm is a recurring helmet in the Dragon Quest series. It is a high-ranking helmet that provides a lot of defence.

Dragon Quest III[]
The mythril helm has a defence bonus of +38. It can be equipped by the Hero, Warriors, Priests, Mages, Merchants, Thieves, and Sages and is sold in Tantegel for 18,000 gold. It only appears in the remakes and is the most powerful helmet for several classes.
Dragon Quest VII[]
The mythril helm has a defence bonus of +32 and a style bonus of +17. It can be equipped by the Hero, Maribel, Sir Mervyn, and Aishe. Mythril helms can be purchased from the Divine Shrine and the Sea Dragon for 10,000 gold and sold for 5,000. They can also be won as prizes from the Lucky Panel at the Buccanham Casino.
Dragon Quest VIII[]
The mythril helm has a defence bonus of +38. It can be worn by the Hero and Angelo.
