Biography[]
This monster appeared after Erdrick defeated Baramos to bring back the inhabitants of the Necrogond from the dead and force them to put together a ritual so the Archfiend can live again. This ritual involved sacrificing a living human being, a kidnapped soldier, and the despair of the souls that were brainwashed. The Luminary and his comrades venture into Baramos's Lair to face him and together put a stop to its dreadful deeds, putting the souls of the Necrogond to rest and saving the soldier in time. In the end however, he offers himself up to revive the Archfiend, setting the stage for his return...

Name origin[]
"Necrogondolier" derives from the name of the place he hails from, "The Necrogond", and "gondolier", which is the term for someone who operates a gondola. This is possibly an allusion to the ferryman of Hades, Charon, to which its spanish name also references.
