Persecutter is a recurring skill in the Dragon Quest series.

Description[]

Deals double damage to enemies that are afflicted with sleep and/or confusion.

Appearances[]

Dragon Quest III[]

Only appearing in the game's 2D-HD Remake, it is learned by Thieves at level 29 and costs 11 MP to use for the first time since Walk.

Making its debut, it is learned by holding the Knifing Know-How book while wielding a knife and damages enemies who are sleeping and/or confused by twice the amount of a normal attack, costing 3 MP to use.

Dragon Quest X[]

Now learned by investing 35 skill points into the Knife skill tree, it acts the same as in IX, though its damage output is increased. It once again costs 3 MP to use, and can also be enhanced with the Master Orb system. In addition, it is also used by Kaito Poikkurin when she fights alongside the Hero against Kukuhawker.

Dragon Quest XI[]

Learned by investing 9 skill points into Erik's Knives Character Builder and 13 into Sylvando's, it acts the same as in the last two games and costs 5 MP to use. It is also used alongside the Luminary's Snooze spell for the Snooze 'n' Bruise Pep Power.
