Pike

In DQ7 (VII)/(3ds), the hero has an uncle whose name is Pike. This man (pike) has a lazy, rude attitude, as said by some npc's in the game. Pike does play quite an important roll in the game, having the sizzling stone. Pike lives in Estard, and is your father's brother (Pollock).
