Quickfire Caster is a recurring skill in the Dragon Quest series.

Dragon Quest X[]
Making its debut, it is learned when 21 skill points are invested into the Heavy wand skill tree and 12 skill points for recruited Meowgicians and Hat hamwitches, halving the casting time of spells by 2 minutes and costs 5 MP to use. In the Offline version of the game, it is learned 3 skill points into the Hero's Heavy wand skill tree and 15 skill points into Fura's Heavy Wand skill tree, as well as being used by Fosuteiru and Galmy when temporally fighting alongside the Hero, but acts differently from the Online original, sometimes casting a spell twice in a row.
Dragon Quest Heroes II[]
Lazarel and Theresa learn this skill when they are equipped with heavy wands in the Mage and Sage vocations. It allows them to cast spells more faster without charging, and can be upgraded into Super Quickfire Caster and Über Quickfire Caster, respectively. It once again costs 5 MP to use.
