Robochop is a recurring skill in the Dragon Quest series.
Appearances[]
Dragon Quest X[]
Making its debut, it is used by Hunter mechs, Killing machines, Mechidroids, Hell gladiators, Demons-at-arms, Servants of darkness, Asura kings, Overkilling machines, Überkilling machines, Crimson killing machines, Killseekers, Guru Sudok, Goushirsha, Nerodus, Grevos, Zexus Machine God Solider, Nerodus' shadow, and Cleankiller in battle against their enemies. However, the attack motion is different depending on the monster, either dealing 1.5 times more damage than a normal attack, inflicting 0.5 times the damage of a normal attack on one enemy 4 times, and/or cutting the target 3 times by attacking the enemy for 0.8 times 3 of a normal attack.
Dragon Quest XI[]
Acting the same as in X, it is used by Armfuls, One-man armies, Evil ganeshas, Elephant kings, Maeve, and Mortamammoth, as well as Hunter Mechs, Killing Machines, Overkilling Machines, Überkilling Machines, and Crimson Killing Machines once again, with the attack motion differing once again. The skill's name is mentioned in the 2D mode of the Definitive Edition for the Hunter Mechs and Killing Machines, but is shown as a violent slashing attack for all others. In addition, a Pep Power version of this skill makes its debut.
Dragon Quest Walk[]
Learned by Demons-at-Arms at level 50 and Barbarus at level 30, it deals 75% slash damage to 1 enemy 4 times. It costs 28 MP to use, and is also used by One-Man Armies once again.
Etymology[]
The attack's name is a play on the movie RoboCop.
