Scorpion is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series.
Characteristics[]
A simple scorpion with a soft body beneath a gold-hued exoskeleton. As a relatively early enemy, it is a strong creature with a slightly increased critical-hit rate and should not be taken lightly. As the player grows stronger, it poses far less of a threat. In later titles, it has inherited a venomous/paralysing sting and should be dealt with as soon as possible.

| Note: A mutated giant scorpion. It uses its massive size to perform spinning attacks and paralyzing attacks with the large poisonous stinger at the end of its tail. The tail that I'm so proud of is actually quite heavy, so just holding it can be quite a struggle. I once almost stabbed myself in the head when I wasn't paying attention. | |||||
