Biography[]

Scytan is encountered on the 2nd floor of the Shrine of Rain, where he is trying to break down the barrier of the Faeries with Boom and Frizzle spells, though he is confronted by the Scions of Erdrick, with Peronel telling him to stand down and not harm the Faeries. Scytan expresses his surprise that humans managed to infiltrate the Shrine of Rain and dispelled the barrier, though he is unaware that they used Erdrick's sword, which was given to them by the Dragonlord's grandson in his great-grandfather's castle and dares the Scions to think himself as his equal, even mentioning his status as Atlas's favorite, catching Caradoc's intrigue, who asks him if he's another of Hargon's underlings, but the monster tells him it's none of his business after he kills him and his cousins by slicing them into a thousand tiny pieces, though Caradoc riles him up saying he'd love to see that, which confuses Scytan for a bit before Caradoc clarified he wouldn't and he has stood resolutely whole against many monsters who threatened him in every same manner, further enraging Scytan, who tells him that his smirking countenance will be bathed in blood, causing Peronel to tell her cousin not to provoke him any further. Scytan then tells the Scions they shall know true pain and they shall die, though he loses.
