Making its debut, it is learned though the Bang and Zam III, Frizz and Zam III, Crack and Zam III, Woosh and Zam III, Thunderwind Slashes, Darklight Slashes, Dark Knight, Rhapthorne II, Über Dark Dynamiter, and Über Knight skill sets. It costs 4 MP to use, in its debut game, and 20 MP for Terry's Wonderland 3D and Iru and Luca's Marvelous Mysterious Key.
Dragon Quest: Monster Battle Road Series[]
Reappearing from Battle Road II onwards, it is used in combination with a player in the Martial Artist vocation and the Gamigin's Zam spell to damage all enemies while potentally cursing them.
Dragon Quest Heroes II[]
Fractos uses this skill in battle against Lazarel, Theresa, and their allies, dealing about 70 damage to anyone it hits.
Dragon Quest Tact[]
Learned by the Dark skeleton via its Talent Blossoming, it deals 270% Zam damage to one enemy and costs 38 MP to use. It is also used by the Troll in the Demon Rank Up Quest on Hell difficulty, the Great troll in the Zam-type Upgrade Quest on Hell difficultly and its VS Quest, and Corpse corporals during Ch. 5 Ep. 3 Drooling Eagerly on Hard.
Dragon Quest Treasures[]
Acting mostly the same as in previous appearances, it is learned by Queen slimes, Glyphic golems, and Amber drackies, but can also potentially fizzle their spells. It costs 8 MP to use.
