Dragon Quest V[]
Only appearing the mobile remakes, it is obtained by exchanging points on the Dragon Quest Portal app and grants +18 defence when equipped by Bianca, Nera, and Deborah.
Dragon Quest VI[]
The Platter increases defence by +18, style by +23, and can be equipped by Milly and Ashlynn. It can be won in the first rank of the Best-Dressed contest, and in Poseidon's Palace (Ultimate key required). it is notable for being Milly's first shield upgrade after putting up with the puny pot shield since Madame Luca's House.
Dragon Quest VII[]
The silver platter has a defence bonus of +15 and a style bonus of +23. It can only be equipped by Maribel and Aishe. It can be purchased at Pilgrim's Perdition and Allblades Arena for 1,000 gold and sold for 500. If worn with the Bunny ears, Bunny suit, and Fishnet stockings, it gives an extra +50 style bonus when being graded for the Best Dressed Contest at the Excellence Grading Organisation.
Dragon Quest VIII[]
The silver platter has a defence bonus of +8 and can be purchased in the Pickham casino for 500 tokens. The shield can only be equipped by Jessica Albert, as well as Red in the Nintendo 3DS version. It can be sold for 100 Gold Coins, and is better used as an alchemy ingredient for the White shield than anything else. It can also be combined with an Iron cuirass to make a Silver cuirass or a Coral hairpin to make a Silver tiara. A free platter can be found in the Le Club Puff-Puff, which is in the Argonian highlands.
