Sir Sanguinus is a boss monster who resides in grottoes in Dragon Quest IX and a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series.

Sir Sanguinus is a skeletal knight monster that wears a red knight's armor, he's armed with a red lance for combat and he rides on a bicorn.

Personality[]

He acts like he be on a high horse all day. At least until you knock him down.

He has no breath attacks and his magic is not great. Multithrust will not deal to great a damage to your Paladin if he/she is done with virtue (especially if they are done with courage as well as virtue). He should be no problem but you will need the shield scroll for the paladin tactic.

Another excellent strategy is to have your priest cast Rotstopper. This will seriously decrease damage done to your party, which can save your weaker party members from being killed by a critical hit. Just be sure to re-cast it after every Disruptive Wave.
