Making its debut, it is learned when 13 skill points are invested into the Knife Skill tree. It costs 1 MP to use, and deals 1.1 times more damage of a normal attack to an enemy, while potentiality putting them to sleep. It can also be enhanced with the Master Orb system from Version 3 onwards, and is also used by Dark Poikkurin in battle, as well as Kaito Poikkurin when she fights alongside the Hero.
Dragon Quest XI[]
Learned when 6 skill points are invested into Erik's Knives Character Builder and 7 skill points for Sylvando's Knives Character Builder, it acts the same as in X and costs 3 MP to use. It is also used alongside the Luminary's Cutting Edge for the Edge of Sleep Pep Power.
