Sparkie (Doran in the NES version) is a temporary playable character in IV. He is one of Orifiela's dragons, whom she offers to the party after speaking with her again in Zenithia.
Like all other temporary characters, Sparkie will not level up. Sparkie will leave the party to report on the existence of the Yggdrasil flower once Rose has been revived.
