Spirit is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series.

Characteristics[]

Spirits tend to envelope themselves in long blue cloaks. They usually raise their hands as if casting a spell, but in recent depictions they’re portrayed as holding a scythe.

Trivia[]

  • NOTE: the monster named "Spirit" should not be confused with the more mystical, and often benevolent Spirits mentioned and sometimes directly met in the series in many occasions, such as the spirits called upon by the Druid vocation with Summon, or the four Great Spirits from Dragon Quest VII.
