The stalagosaur is a monster who appears in the Dragon Quest series.
Characteristics[]
The stalagosaur is a giant stegosaur monster with navy blue skin and above it, khaki armored plates. All over its back, there are crystal chunks that this monster uses as defense. At the end of its tail, the crystals have merged, making it transform into a ankylosaur-like tail, so it could protect itself with it. If one looks closely to the in game model of the stalagosaur, it can be seen that the khaki armored plates are quite damaged. Since this monster tends to sleep beneath the desert sands, this has caused the armor to have become eroded, and thus the reason for its damaged appearance. Interestingly, the stalagosaur resembles an ankylosaurus more than it resembles a stegosaurus, its namesake.
